My approach is unique. Since you don't know me personally yet, here is some more information about my orientation to working with you.
First, it is no-nonsense and down-to-earth. I am direct and my focus is on what will work for you. My assumption is that you just want to learn the secrets of introvert success -- you're not inherently flawed in any way! A business-like approach is what is needed.
What's most important is how you are successful within the context of your own career and situation, including your environment - whether that be an organization, other professionals, or competing professional firms. Consistent with my professional training, our work will emphasize how you interact within this larger system as an introvert and how you can be more effective. During this process, you will explore options and move at a pace that is right for you.
Second, I understand how professionals are different since I am one by my formal training and socialization. There are a number of unique characteristics of careers that are deemed “professions”. I have studied and lived these differences. What this means to you is that I relate to your investment, constraints, and career choices.
Third, my working assumption is that you are motivated, smart, and capable of taking an active role in your success. I seek to ask the right questions, help you find answers, convey to you what I know (but not tell you what to do unless that's what you want from me), and guide you along the way with educated feedback, accountability, and practice.
Last but not least, I do not believe that you must be an extravert to succeed. My goal is to work with your inherent predispositions to achieve incremental changes that have big payoffs. The work that you undertake by seeking my help is not always easy and sometimes it requires courage, but I think you’ll agree with me that it is worthwhile.
