Introversion is a dimension of personality that favors solitude, quiet, and deliberation over action, noise, spontaneity, and being in the midst of people and events. If you're an "introvert", you probably feel drained and possibly even stressed by the bright lights and action.
Introverts can be very different from one another in other aspects of their personality. But they tend to share this need for a more inner-focused, less talkative, private way of being.
