You can be successful at your professional endeavors - even in an extravert's world.   You can reach the next level of success and beyond!

Chances are, just one or a few issues on the following list are the ones you face.   Other introverts might select different ones.

They're all significant to the extent that they slow down fulfillment of your professional goals -- unnecessarily.

Mustering the energy to do what it takes to interact with others

Having the confidence to set high aspirations

Being recognized for your accomplishments

Becoming more visible to others

Relating to, dealing with, and communicating with extraverts

Getting meaningful projects/assignments

Being seen as a leader

Increasing your influence and clout to get things done

Finding a role and organization that respects your need for quiet approaches

Networking

Marketing and acquiring new clients

Advancing in your career

Landing a new position

My expertise and professional training is focused to learn about you, to diagnose your unique situation, and partner with you.

After assessment, we collaborate on a workable plan that enables you to achieve your goals. And I do what it takes to get you there, including counsel, guidance and support.  For details on this process, see How My Services Benefit You .

Workshops and Talks

Workshops and talks are available for groups, organizations, and companies.  These are highly informative and lively sessions to stimulate greater understanding of the differences between introversion and extraversion and to help introverts be more successful.

FAQ  (Frequently Asked Questions)

What's the Point?

It's useful to consider what drives us to seek to manage the issues that we, as introverts, face in our careers. There is nothing wrong with introversion but it's widely misunderstood and often disparaged by extraverts.  I believe this effort, and my work with you, is really about a search for self efficacy and personal meaning.  Most of us want not just to feel competent but to be genuinely competent and to do our best to meet the challenges of our profession -- in all its aspects.  Our goal is a life of significance.   This quest is what motivates the work and psychic energy needed to meet head-on with our innate predispositions as introverts - identifying our strengths, seeking expert advice when needed, and finding new ways to actualize our strengths.  And it's what makes all of it worthwhile.

(Thanks to Dr. Joel Guarna for inspiring me to articulate this idea.)
